    Position Summary
This position is responsible for responding to guest inquiries for information about our trips and products, both on the phone and in person. The position is also responsible for managing reservations, which includes taking reservations and payments, communicating with and assisting groups during the trip planning process, managing trip numbers and scheduling, and processing confirmations. The position is also responsible for data entry for tracking reservations, guest contact information, participant agreements, and trip information. This position also works closely with the Base Support Staff and, depending upon business levels, may be required to provide assistance with base operations.
   
         
    Specific Job Skills
An applicant must posses the knowledge and communication skills to provide guests with a high level of customer service on the phone and in person. A minimum of two years experience in a seasonal guest service business environment and a bachelor’s degree are preferred. An applicant must be comfortable with computer skills, including proficient keyboard use, word processing, and basic spreadsheet applications.
   
         
    Job Conditions
This job requires hours that regularly exceed 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week, in a fast paced environment where self initiative, multi-tasking and flexibility are essential.
