  Costa Rica is home to almost 1000 species of butterflies. This particular butterfly is a Costa Rican Malachite.  
 
     
  Coffee is one of Costa Rica's biggest exports. Coffee fields with beans like these literally cover the country side.  
 
         
 
     
  This is a weekly market in the mountain town of Turrialba, the former home of Todd and Jaco and an international destination for kayakers.  
 
     
  This image was captured from a raft floating on the Pacuare River. The beauty of the rain-forest is evident in the thick trees and low clouds.
