Tyler Houck

Tyler "Fastlane" Houck started guiding rafts when he was 16 on the Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers in West Virginia. After attending school at West Virginia University he began guiding and kayaking class V whitewater on and around the Cheat River Canyon. With his love for whitewater expanding at an exponential rate he began traveling further around the country to see what was around the next river bend.

As a recent graduate of WVU with a degree in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Resources with a focus in Ecotourism and a minor in English, Tyler plans to continue down the road of river enlightenment. Blending well with the rest of the Wet Planet family as the youngster of the group Tyler's energy and enthusiasm keeps everyone on their toes. With warm weather and sunny days on his side only time will tell what great adventures are next in line.

Check out Tyler's kayaking adventures on his blog: The Fastlane
