Aleson Rietow

Aleson is another one of our everything ladies. From guiding river trips, making coffees, taking reservations all the way to helping manage our website and producing some of Wet Planets awesome graphics, Aleson takes part in it all.

Born and raised in Hawaii, Aleson is a natural water girl, and made the switch from ocean to river sports with enthusiasm! Aleson has a degree from Univeristy of Oregon in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Studies. Falling in love with the area for it’s lush green environment and friendly people, she decided to stay in the area. After school she spent at winter on Mt Hood, and as the winter season came to an end she headed for Wet Planet where she became part of our awesome staff in 2009!

Growing up surfing and paddling outrigger canoes it was obvious to make the move to whitewater kayaking. A natural in a kayak, she is getting out on the river every chance she gets with all of the other motivated Wet Planeteers! For a girl who loves the water, she fits right in at Wet Planet!
