    Columbia River Gorge - All of our white water rafting Oregon and Washington adventures start from our headquarters here in the Columbia River Gorge. Our guides take the time to provide our guests with the equipment and information they need for their adventure as well as to teach them the skills necessary for successful white water rafting.    
         
    Reservations and Inquiries - Contact us to book an exciting Washington or Oregon whitewater rafting adventure - or just to ask a question - we would like to hear from you.  You will need to sign an Assumption of Risk Agreement for all Oregon and Washington whitewater rafting trips and kayak courses.

White Salmon River - Imagine whitewater river rafting on the White Salmon River, a breathtaking combination of whitewater and scenery. Check out the Upper Section of the White Salmon River.

Wind River - One of the most challenging commercial rafting runs in the Pacific Northwest, our white water rafting trips on the Wind River are restricted to experienced rafters or returning guests (previous Class IV rafting experience required) Ages: 18 years old and up.

Klickitat River - This is the ideal trip for rafters who want to experience the magic of a pristine wilderness river rafting trip.

Tieton River - While most other rivers in the Pacific Northwest have run out of water, the Tieton River provides an excellent 'season's finale'. Each September, the Wet Planet crew heads to the Tieton River for this incredible late season whitewater event. Get directions to our Tieton Base Camp with the Tieton River Info Sheet.

The Farmlands - This section of the White Salmon River is arguably the most committing, exciting, and spectacular commercial rafting run in the Pacific Northwest. Ten miles upstream of the Forest Service put-in for the main section of the White Salmon River, the Farmlands section offers continuous class IV-V whitewater in a series of canyons defined by vertical cliff walls and horizon-line upon horizon-line of stairstepping rapids.

Frequent Floaters - Each time you spend a day on the river with Wet Planet, you will earn two river miles. These miles can be redeemed at any time for a variety of rewards, from a free espresso in the Wet Planet Café to a free Whitewater Rafting trip! You can spend your miles as soon as you earn them, or you can accumulate them to use at a later date. The choice is yours!

Whitewater and Wine - This incredible trip consists of a half-day rafting trip on the White Salmon River with Wet Planet followed by a gourmet lunch and wine tasting at Wind River Cellars. Relax on the winery's tasting decks in front of some of the most amazing views of Mt. Hood while sampling some of their award winning wines.

Combo Trips - For many people, one day of rafting is just not enough. At Wet Planet Rafting we offer several different combinations of our half-day and full-day rafting trips to create an excellent multi-day trip.

Group Programs - Whether we are catering a riverside lunch for your baseball team or transporting your entire wedding party to their rehearsal dinner in one of our shuttle vehicles, we enjoy working with groups to ensure that their time with Wet Planet is a complete experience.

Hell's Canyon of the Snake River - As North America’s deepest river gorge, Hells Canyon, with Idaho’s towering Seven Devils Mountains and Oregon’s Blue Mountains, combined with world class rapids, cultural history, beautiful beaches, and warm water, proves to be a trip of a lifetime for all ages.

Idah's Lower Salmon River - Rafting the Lower Gorge of the Salmon River provides the perfect setting for people of all ages and abilities to experience the excitement and relaxation of the outdoors.

Classification System - All rapids are rated on a scale of I to VI, where class I rapids are the easiest and least dangerous, and class VI rapids are the most difficult and dangerous.

Planning a Trip - Deciding to go rafting is the easy part. However, if you haven't done it before, planning your trip takes a little more preparation. At Wet Planet Whitewater, we are happy to help you with each step of the process.

What to Bring - Included in the cost of each one of our trips is all of the whitewater gear that you will need (wetsuits, booties for your feet, personal flotation device, helmet, paddle, splash jacket).

Wild and Scenic Rivers Act - Sections of both the White Salmon River and the Klickitat River, run by Wet Planet, are designated for protection under the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act. This piece of legislation is one of the most significant pieces of legislation providing for the protection of this nation's river corridors.

   
         
    Kayaking School Courses - The rivers of Washington and Oregon provide an excellent opportunity for those looking to experience whitewater kayaking for the first time, or experienced paddlers looking to improve their skills. At Wet Planet Kayaking, we take advantage of the crystal clear rivers and outstanding scenery in Washington and Oregon while offering whitewater-kayaking instruction for all levels of paddlers.    
         
   

Beginner Kayak Instruction - This three-day whitewater kayak instruction course is designed to introduce beginner paddlers to the sport of white water kayaking.

Rapid Progression - This course is similar to our three-day beginning kayak instruction, just fit into two days. It is designed for the beginning kayaker that does not have time to commit to three days and feels comfortable moving at an accelerated pace.

Intermediate Kayak Instruction
- This course is designed for the kayaker who already has basic whitewater kayaking skills and wants to improve their technique or develop new skills.

Private or Custom Kayak
- Whether you are a beginning kayaker interested in improving your roll, or an advanced kayaker looking to master the latest freestyle move, private instruction from the ACA certified instructors at Wet Planet Whitewater can help you achieve your goals.

Pool Sessions - the only kayak school in the area with a private, on-site pool dedicated to kayak instruction.  We offer two-hour pool sessions designed to improve whitewater kayaking skills such as the roll and the brace.

Women's Intermediate Creeking Clinic - The Pacific Northwest is full of beautiful, unique creeks that are just waiting to be explored. If you have ever had the desire to go "creeking", or are just hoping to improve your river running skills, now is the chance!

River Rescue Course for Kayakers - This one-day river rescue course is designed to provide hands on practice in basic rescue skills for whitewater paddlers unable to attend a three-day rescue course or for paddlers with previous rescue training interested in freshening up their skills before the season begins.

Pacific Northwest Creeking Clinic - This one-day clinic is designed specifically for intermediate/advanced paddlers who have the desire to work on their creeking skills in order to begin enjoying many of the amazing Pacific Northwest creek runs.

Women's Intermediate to Advanced Creeking Clinic - If you are interested in improving your creeking skills, or fine tuning your river running skills in a supportive and fun environment, this is the clinic for you!

Women's Kayaking Series - Now you can feed both sides of your personality the LAST Sunday of each month, starting in May! Wet Planet is hosting the following Women's-Only clinics, led by team Jackson paddler and Wet Planet insructor Heather Herbeck.

Big Drops and the Zen of Boofing - Waterfall Clinic - In this clinic, we will focus on the techniques necessary to stick your boof every time: stroke placement, timing, body positioning, lateral momentum, edge transitions, and smooth and fast landings.

Playboating Clinics - In this clinic we'll use multiple river features, as well as flatwater, to develop an understanding of how you can harness the water's power and the way it interacts with your boat to practice numerous play-boat maneuvers.

Kids' Kayak Camp - Take advantage of the Wet Planet Kids Kayak Camp, and let us help your kids learn the invaluable knowledge necessary to play safely in the water environment!

   
         
    River Rescue Courses - We offer swift water rescue courses for paddlers and whitewater professionals. These courses are designed by paddlers for paddlers.    
       
    Guide School - Our guides, instructors, & staff have lived and worked in river communities all over the United States and world. From ˝ day commercial trips to remote multi-week expeditions, our passion for river travel & the whitewater industry has generated experience as both guides and educators.
