At Wet Planet Rafting, we recognize that many groups (wedding groups, bachelor parties, youth group outings, corporate groups, etc.) are looking for more than just time on the river. Whether we are catering a riverside lunch for your baseball team or transporting your entire wedding party to their rehearsal dinner in one of our shuttle vehicles, we enjoy working with groups to make sure that their time with Wet Planet is a complete experience.

Our riverside headquarters is the ideal spot to organize activities to go with your whitewater rafting trip. With four and a half acres of beautiful property nestled down in between the White Salmon River and Rattlesnake Creek, we are ideally set up to host your group. We offer camping along Rattlesnake Creek, catered riverside lunches, lodging packages with local b&b's or hotels, transportation for your group to and from your hotel, and many other custom services. If you have ideas for your group outside of our standard white water rafting trips, we can work with you to plan the perfect Wet Planet experience.

Corporate Programs

At Wet Planet Rafting we also have the experience and desire to help corporate groups combine their white water rafting trip with custom designed programs focusing on group development, communication, or leadership skills in the framework of a whitewater rafting adventure. When designing these programs, we work with corporate groups to first determine their needs and goals, and then design an itinerary to help them achieve these goals.

These programs are typically a full day event that includes transportation from the hotel, a raft trip on either the Klickitat or White Salmon River with lunch, and experiential activities designed to further the group's goals.

Program Suggestions

Depending on the type of group and their goals, activities can focus on the following areas:

All of the activities in these programs are conducted within the framework of a whitewater rafting trip, using the river environment and the outdoor setting as the classroom. Both of the Wet Planet founders, Todd Collins and Jaco Klinkenberg, as well as many of their core staff, are trained and experienced educators for the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS). NOLS, regularly recognized as one of the top ten wilderness schools in the world, focuses on the outdoor classroom as the environment in which to develop leadership and communication skills, as well as technical outdoor skills. NOLS has used experiential outdoor education to train students from 16 year old high school groups to teams of NASA astronauts. Wet Planet brings this experience and training to all of their custom corporate programs.

Programs include all gear & equipment needed for the whitewater trip.
