  Rafting the Klickitat River

Experience white water rafting in Washington and Oregon, rafting on the Wild and Scenic Klickitat River. Descending from the snow fields of Mt. Adams and the Goat Rocks Wilderness, the Klickitat River passes through some of the most remote wilderness canyons in the Pacific Northwest. We designed this all day white water rafting trip with the wilderness enthusiast in mind. The trip begins with continuous class II – III whitewater action in thick pine forests, until the canyon opens up to reveal breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys. During this all day trip, we stop along the way for a tasty riverside lunch. With virtually no access to the steep canyons, basalt cliffs, twisted lava formations, and scrub oak forests other than the put-in and take-out, this is the ideal trip for rafters who want to experience the magic of a pristine wilderness river trip.

"I wanted to thank you and your whole crew for a great day on the Klickitat River! The ASWSU group from WSU was extremely happy with the trip and very tired at the end of the day. The water was awesome and I could not believe how high and fast it was running. Thanks for arranging all that for us! The scenery was spectacular. I just can't say enough how great you guys are. Your guides are terrific and the rest of your staff were all very helpful. Lunch at the hatchery was great and the break in the sun was just right." Jerry Massey, WSU
