Whitewater Adventure

On Washington's White Salmon River, Wet Planet Whitewater will lead you into a lush, forested gorge stacked with action-packed rapids for a day of whitewater rafting. Fed by natural springs and glaciers on Mt. Adams, this class III-IV river tumbles through a narrow cliff-lined basalt canyon before heading out into the warm sunshine of a forested canyon. Finishing with the legendary vertical plunge over the 10' Husum Falls--the tallest commercial waterfall in the country--this trip epitomizes the beauty and thrill of the Columbia River Gorge. Wine Tasting

Still elated from your whitewater rafting trip, it is time to experience another Columbia River Gorge indulgence: wine.

Located on the Hood River, Springhouse Cellar embraces the spirit of the Columbia River wine region. Here, the grape aficionados produce ten handcrafted, small-lot, Northwest wines each year in a rustic downtown Hood River winery. Upstairs in a tap driven tasting room they will pour you their masterpieces. You read that right, wine on tap.

Order a flight of all ten wines, relax with a glass on the porch, and then take home a unique 1 liter Springhouse growler -- or as they say in France, growlier-- that you can perpetually refill. Save the planet while drinking great wine, it doesn't get much better than that.

Your trip also includes a catered light lunch, typically including various types of baguette style sandwiches with pasta salad, fruit salad and dessert.

A Unique Group Trip

The Whitewater and Wine trip makes for an unforgettable event for many different groups: corporate events, team building retreats, wedding parties, reunions, birthday parties and more.

Group size must be minimum of 12 people. We can accommodate groups up to 120, as well.

Price Range: Base rate: $85.00 per person. Group rates available. Includes a half-day whitewater rafting trip followed by an upscale, light, summer lunch and wine tasting. Upgraded menu options available upon request tailored to the nature of your event and group needs.

Bar: Award winning wines produced by Springhouse Cellar. Beer and non-alcoholic beverages available upon request.

Availability & Terms: Events can be scheduled 7 days of the week, May through September. Reservations can be made with either Wet Planet (877.390.9445) or Springhouse Cellar. Reservation policies are the same as with other Wet Planet Rafting trips.
