One of America’s top multi-day rafting trips, the Rogue River in southern Oregon attracts new and veteran river rafters year after year.  Many find themselves returning to further explore the spectacular canyon, take in the crisp mountain air and enjoy the adventure of Oregon’s most popular whitewater rapids.

For 4 days and 3 nights, your Rogue River whitewater raft trip will transport you into a naturally inspiring place, while also providing gourmet meals prepared each day and comfortable camping under the stars.

Rogue River Photos

A rich and spectacular environment

The Rogue River flows from Crater Lake National Park, through the densely forested Cascade Range and into the Pacific Ocean.  Included in the original Wild and Scenic Act of 1968, the 35 mile whitewater rafting stretch has been protected from development for over 40 years.  This pristine wilderness houses upwards of 3,500 different plant species and large wildlife like the American Black Bear and River Otter.

Imagine floating over clear, blue water to see salmon traveling upstream to spawn.  A family of deer might wander through camp, on their way to drink from the river.  Above, Bald Eagles, Ospreys and Great Blue Herons can be seen circling and landing near the river, hunting for their next meal.  With such incredible sights, even the kids will be impressed.

A river with a history

Along the banks you’ll also spot landmarks from the canyon’s rich American history.  Inhabited by Native Americans for thousands of years, settlers and gold miners soon arrived to the lush and plentiful banks of the river in the 1850‘s.  Named for the stubborn, "rogue” inhabitants, the river has remained wild, inspiring great works of literature like Zane Grey’s Rogue River Feud.

A vacation to remember

However, no river rafting vacation is complete without delicious food and extraordinary service.

Arriving at a riverside camp site every night, your guides will unload gear and begin to prepare a sumptuous feast including appetizers and desert.  Your afternoon hours can be spent relaxing, reading, swimming or fishing.  Guides often lead hikes into their favorite side canyons, or organize games on sandy beaches for the group.  After a satisfying meal, your bed under the stars awaits to give you a comfortable night’s sleep along the Rogue River.

You’ll wake up to fresh coffee and a hot breakfast every morning.  As guides load the rafts back up, you will leisurely prepare for another exciting day exploring the Rogue River canyon.

With each day, stress and worries from your regular routine will fade further and further away, as the canyon’s incredible beauty and classic whitewater draw you into the experience of a southern Oregon whitewater adventure.
