The Columbia River Gorge is home to some of the most beautiful and exciting Oregon and Washington river rafting trips in the country, as numerous tributaries flow out of the cascades, carving their way through stunning basalt canyons. This unique area, nestled in between Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams, is also wine country.  Surrounded by an incredible variety of river trips, from the class III Klickitat River and Tieton River, to the classic glacier waters and basalt canyons of the White Salmon River, to the challenges of class V whitewater rapids on the Wind River and Farmlands , and a short drive from over 20 of Washington and Oregon's top wineries, we are well aware that we are living in the middle of a recreational playground.  At Wet Planet, we have taken advantage of this incredible resource, and created two special trips that truly allow you to experience a slice of the good life in the Columbia River Gorge (from the perspective of a whitewater boat of course).
