At Wet Planet Rafting and Kayaking we know that an exciting river rafting trip can be the ultimate bonding adventure for many different types of groups: family reunions, corporate outings, wedding parties, youth groups, adventure campes, bachelor/ette parties, etc. We also recognize that many groups are looking for more than just time on the river. Whether we are catering a riverside lunch for your baseball team or transporting your entire wedding party to our headquarters and back to their hotel in one of our shuttle vehicles, we enjoy working with groups to make sure that their time with Wet Planet is both memorable and effortless.

If you have ideas for your group outside of our standard white water rafting trips, from an after-trip riverside BBQ to transportation for your group to and from your hotel, our professional reservations staff will work with you to organize a successful event both on and off the river.

Raft and Bond!

Rafting is the perfect teambuilding activity or ice-breaker for any group, from a corporate work group, to a youth sports team, to the first day of a wedding event. On the river, you’ll find yourself quickly becoming friends with people who may have been total strangers before your trip. On the river, you'll need to work in tandem with everyone else on your boat; as your guides will tell you, it’s more important to paddle together than to paddle strongly but out of sync. As you adjust to the group in your raft and challenge the whitewater together as a team, you’ll find that whether you’ve been friends for years or were strangers ten minutes ago that you still discover something new about each other! The experience of working together to move the raft smoothly through the challenges of the river is often just the kind of teambuilding effort that brings many groups together.

The bonding experience can continue off the river as well, when you add a Wet Planet BBQ to the end of your trip, either as a lunch or dinner. Our BBQ's add a great opportunity for relaxed social interaction after the trip, and provide a great chance for rafters to re-live their adventures from the river trip. There is no better way to reinforce the bonds created on the river than with food and good company after the trip.

Our riverside headquarters is the ideal spot to organize activities to go with your rafting trip. With four and a half acres of beautiful property nestled between the White Salmon River and Rattlesnake Creek, we are ideally set up to host your group.
