I can't say enough good things about the two-day class I took with Heather Herbeck from Wet Planet. I signed up for an all girls paddle weekend ... I highly recommend a course with Heather because she knows her stuff. She is professional, courteous, an over all great kayaker and instructor. Whatever you want to learn, she can teach ... I also need to mention Wet Planet as well. They have a pool to practice and fine-tune your roll, change rooms, shuttle, gift shop, espresso bar, snacks, and photos. Over all, I would rate the class a 10 on the set up to the instructions, to the personal care by my instructor Heather Herbeck, and Wet Planet.

Get out on the river with other women!

In a testosterone dominant sport, such as whitewater kayaking, we tend to forget our feminine side. We hear people yell out, "Paddle harder", "Be aggressive" and "Suck it up!" Right? Sometimes women just want to relax, paddle in pink, and have a fun-filled day on the river with just the gals!

Now you can feed both sides of your personality on one Sunday of each month, starting in May! Wet Planet is hosting the following Womens-Only clinics, led by team Jackson paddler and Wet Planet instructor Heather Herbeck.

COST: $95 each Sunday (except for Sept. 19th, Tieton River Day - $45)

TIME: 9:00 - 9:30 - Introductions and gear gathering
9:30 - 10:00 am - YOGA overlooking Rattlesnake Rapid
10:00 - 5:00 (ish) pm - Paddle (Lunch provided on the river)

Note: Sept. 19th, the Tieton River 1/2 Day is 9:00 - 12:30 p.m.
