Later this month, Todd and Jaco, Wet Planet's trusty co-owners, are headed to India! We're excited for the potential addition of India's Siang River to our International trips. The Siang River expedition involves 11 days of cultural experiences, beautiful scenery, and not to mention great white water in the foot hills of the majestic Himalayes. During the trip, 6 days are devoted to rafting from Yingkiong to the Upper Pasighat. They call this trip an expedition for a reason, with multiple days of traveling with a jeep to the start point of the trip, through some of the most untouched and most remote areas of India, home to countless different tribes and religious cultures. Once on the river, they will be camping, hiking to isolated waterfalls and watching for amazing wildlife including tigers and elephants ... it is truly a trip of a lifetime.

So obviously we are excited to hear of the wonders that India has to offer. We'll keep you posted about India, as we are all super excited. Stay tuned for Todd & Jaco's blog postings, as well as perhaps a slide show while enjoying some Tibetan yak teak once they are back!?
