The Spring Rains Have Brought the Water Levels Up!
Hello Rafters, Kayakers, and Group and Event Organizers,
The Klickitat River, Wind River, and Farmlands are all running!
That's right ... thanks to all of the rain we have had lately, the water levels in these rivers have been on the rise and all three incredible river sections are running. As long as the weather remains the same and we have water in the rivers, Wet Planet Rafting and Kayaking will continue to offer trips seven-days-a-week on all three of these river sections.
The Klickitat River is an all-day trip on one of the most remote river sections commercially rafted in the Pacific Northwest. Descending from Mt. Adams and the Goat Rocks Wilderness, the Klickitat offers continuous class II and III whitewater rafting as you travel through some of the most remote river canyons in Washington and Oregon. With virtually no access to the steep canyons, basalt cliffs, twisted lava formations, and scrub oak forests other than the put-in and take-out, this is the ideal trip for rafters who want to experience the magic of a pristine wilderness trip. All of our Klickitat River trips stop alongside the banks of the river for a hot, tasty riverside lunch.
If you are looking for challenging, class V whitewater rafting action, the Wind River and the Farmlands section of the White Salmon are where it's at!
One of the most challenging commercial rafting runs in the Pacific Northwest, the Wind River cascades through tightly spaced boulder gardens and steep ledge drops in a series of class IV to class V rapids. Set in a deep canyon, spectacular waterfalls, towering cliffs, and unique clay walls create an unforgettable atmosphere for one of the most intense and challenging commercial rafting runs available in Washington and Oregon. This is the perfect trip for the fit and experienced rafter looking for the next level of challenge.
The Farmlands section of the White Salmon River is arguably the most committing, exciting, and spectacular commercial rafting run in Washington or Oregon. Beginning ten miles upstream of the standard commercial rafting put-in for the White Salmon River, the Farmlands section offers continuous class IV-V whitewater in a series of canyons defined by vertical cliff walls and horizon-line upon horizon-line of stair-stepping rapids. Wet Planet Rafting and Kayaking is proud to uniquely offer this incredible stretch of river, located right in our backyard, to our experienced guests.
So, if you are looking for an all-day trip in a wilderness canyon or are looking for challenging class V whitewater, give us a call now! The water in all three of these river sections will not last much longer. Once the rains stop, you'll have to wait until next season.
Help us spread the word! We may have had a low snow pack this winter, but THE WHITE SALMON RIVER IS GLACIER FED. There might not be a lot of snow, but the glacier isn't going anywhere. We will have water to raft all summer long.
