WET PLANET RAFTING

We are now running the Upper Stretch of the White Salmon River!
As the water levels drop each summer, we begin launching all of our White Salmon River trips at our private launch site, 2.1 miles upstream of the standard commercial launch site. Many folks wait to make reservations each season until we begin running this upper stretch of river. Well, the water levels are here, and we will be running the "upper stretch" for the remainder of the White Salmon season. These extra two miles, not run by companies using the traditional launch site, add several class IV rapids, incredible scenery, and an optional cliff-jump back into the river after walking around BZ Falls. With our private put-in and take-out, Wet Planet exclusively offers the longest section of class III-IV whitewater run by any company on the water. This trip IS different ... see for yourself here.

Repeat Floaters Special - an opportunity to see "the upper" return to top
For those of you who rafted with us earlier this season before we began running "the upper", we are offering a special opportunity to return and check out this incredible section of the White Salmon River.
- Midweek: return with 4 people and the 4th person rafts half price!
- Sundays: return with 6 rafters and the 6th person rafts half price!

Summer Season Mid-Week Special
BBQ Special for Groups: any group of 15 or more rafters during mid-week (any day other than Sat. or Sun.) will receive a free catered BBQ with their trip. Our typical BBQ's include burgers, chips and salsa, potato or pasta salad, beans, and beverage.

The Tieton River return to top
September is just around the corner, and this means that it is almost Tieton Season. The Tieton River offers up an incredible season's finale of big waves and non-stop roller coaster style wave trains. Every September, water is released from Rim Rock lake, and the water roaring down through the Tieton River is perfect for fun whitewater rafting. So, come check out the Tieton this September. Join us at our private Wet Planet base camp site in the beautiful Tieton River canyon. All Tieton River trips include an after-trip BBQ, and all Wet Planet guests are welcome to camp with us at our base camp.

With a fantastic group of instructors, the area's only private kayak pool, and permitted access to all of the area's rivers (we're the only kayak school permitted to teach on the White Salmon River), the Wet Planet Kayak School is the area's premier location for whitewater kayak instruction.

This season, we are excited to offer a "kids only" kayak curriculum:

KIDS KAYAKING COURSES IN AUGUST - Ages: 9-12

Kids Beginner Course - August 22, 23 and 24th - 3-day class: $250 per student

Kids Intermediate Course - August 17 & 18 and August 29 & 30 - 2-day class: $195 per student

Full-time Wet Planet kayak instructor Heather Herbeck is organizing and leading these popular classes designed for the younger paddler.

Highlights of the class:
- Use of our on-site pool for working on skills and for play during free time
- Learn how to kayak by playing games suggested by Eric Jackson from Jackson Kayaks
- Utilize the lakes & appropriate rivers in the area
- All gear, equipment, lunches & snacks included in course cost
- BBQ with parents, kids and staff on the last day at the Wet Planet Base
- Experienced, certified, and professional staff who teach, share, motivate and make these days of kayaking a great experience for your kid(s)!
