Hello Rafters, Kayakers,
and Group and Event Organizers,
In
this month's newsletter:
Above Average Snow Pack Equals
Excellent Rafting: We’re getting ready for an incredible
whitewater season; our current snow pack is at 120% of average,
which means we currently have more snow in the mountains than we
have seen for years. This is great news for rafters and kayakers,
because the spring snow-melt rivers will have lots of water.
The
Klickitat River – Wet Planet’s full-day class
III+ wilderness adventure – should have higher water levels
than we have seen for at least 5 years. The Klickitat just
gets more and more fun as the water levels rise, so this is the
season to get on the Klickitat! We are also anticipating great
seasons on the
Wind River & the
Farmlands section of the
White Salmon River. We hope to be running these two
intense class IV-V rafting trips well into June.
