Discover the Adventure of River Rafting & Kayaking
Wet Planet takes advantage of the crystal clear water and stunning scenery of the Pacific Northwest to offer whitewater rafting trips for all skill levels of rafters in the Columbia River Gorge. If you are looking for the phenomenal wilderness experience of a multi-day rafting trip, you can immerse yourself in Idaho’s incredible canyon scenery on our Lower Salmon and Hells Canyon multi-day rafting trips. We also have great multi-day adventures during the spring with our multi-river combo trips.
For those looking to develop the skills necessary to run rivers on their own, or experienced paddlers looking to improve their technique, the Wet Planet Kayak School offers kayak instruction for beginning to advanced paddlers. Taught by our ACA and BCU certified kayak instructors, our two-day and three-day beginner kayak lessons, intermediate and advanced clinics, and certified Rescue3 River Rescue Courses are perfect for developing skills or helping you reach the next level of paddling.
The Wet Planet Rafting and Kayaking Center is located in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, on the Washington state side, along the banks of the White Salmon River. We are just 15 minutes from Hood River, Oregon, and only 1 hour and 15 minutes from Portland (directions).
